The Widemouth Bay Residents' Group meets approximately every 8 weeks in the Summerhouse in Leverlake Rd to discuss issues regarding the village and locality such as planning applications, rubbish collection, Speedwatch, and litter to name but a few.
We started the group because we feel that a more united front would get more response from Cornwall Council regarding planning issues, and to foster a feeling of community in the face of the increase in holiday houses and second homes.
We are an informal group and anyone is welcome to attend. We also organise a couple of social events during the year and village litter picks when we feel they are needed. We meet at 4pm in the winter and 5pm in the lighter months.
For more information contact Rachel Roberts on 361582 or Nicky Vereker on 361530 or see the Diary page.
